Minimum Donation Percentage Reduced for Motors
The minimum donation percentage that you can allocate to an eBay Giving Works charity for items that you are selling through the eBay Motors site has been lowered from 10% to 5% in consideration of the higher selling price of most items sold on eBay Motors. For more information, see eBay Giving Works. »
Trading API: GetSearchResults Changes
The following changes have occurred in GetSearchResults:

  • The SortByCurrentBidAsc input value (formerly for sorting items by the current bid price in ascending order) is no longer functional due to the new Price Plus Shipping Sort feature.
  • In the case of StoresFixedPrice items which are "Good Till Canceled," SearchResultItemArray.SearchResultItem.Item.ListingDetails.EndTime is 5 minutes later than the actual end time. The discrepancy is  intended to facilitate renewal every 30 days of such items' end times.
  • GetSearchResults no longer returns SellerBusinessType for the German site (site ID 77) or eBay Motors site (site ID 100).

Developer Forums Thread of Every Other Week
Recently in the Getting Started forum, there were a couple of readers who wanted a simple (easy coding) solution to showing eBay items for sale on non-eBay web sites. User mushroomcrazy asked:

Is there a simple way I can get some code to serve up relevant auctions for my blog readers please?

(elzorro), once again, comes to the rescue with some great suggestions and even an example to help get his idea across. He hopes someone else can help further with a good source for  flash or javascript scripts to look at...if you know of any please share your knowledge with us in the Developer Forums.
