New API Shipping Options Available to Support Fair Shipping
Changes to the eBay site and API to encourage fair shipping prices and improve buyer experience will soon be live. As a byproduct of this change, Items that do not specify shipping information using the ShippingServiceOption feature may sorted lower than expected in eBay search results.
To prepare for this feature, eBay sellers are encouraged to include at least one valid ShippingServiceOption in listings. For more details on how to list items with Shipping information, see the Determining Shipping Costs documentation section. For more information on this change, see Kristina Klausen's Announcement and the Shipping FAQs. |

Thoughts on CommunityNext - Virality & Profitability
We sent Sunny Li, Trisha Okubu, and Choon Chong to the CommunityNext event on October 5th and 6th. Here's what Sunny had to say:
And the first consensus among everyone seemed to be virality and profitability are not perfect bedmates. In fact, if anything, they seemed to be more along the lines of siblings, all fighting for attention from the adopters. That said, virality and profitability can complement each other well if both drive value to the adopters.
