Reminder: Transaction ID Expansion
As of late January, eBay transaction IDs will be expanding to the 7 billion range. Changes are currently scheduled to go live to production this week, the week of January 29th. Check the Production System Announcement for recent updates on this issue. read story >
Upcoming changes to UPS calculated shipping requirements
As of early March 2007, eBay will enforce the dimensions requirement on listings in order to guarantee a more accurate shipping cost calculation for buyers. We recommend that you update your application early to be ready for this dimensions requirement. Please see the API documentation for details on how to specify package dimensions when listing an item with calculated shipping. read alert >
Sellers Can Apply Discounts Across Listings
A new tool called called Markdown Manager for eBay Stores subscribers allows sellers to offer discounted pricing to their customers by putting Fixed Price and Store Inventory items on sale.  API documentation covers the impacted API calls, including SetPromotionalSale, SetPromotionalSaleListings and GetPromotionalSaleDetails. full story >
