Enhanced Shipping Discounts and Promotions for Combined Payments

New Sellers Required to Offer Safe Payment Method
As of mid-March and as part of our continuing effort to protect buyers and sellers against fraud which Bill Cobb announced at the eCommerce forum this past January , Developers must enable new sellers who have registered to list items on the U.S., Canada, or Australia eBay sites after January 17, 2007 to offer at least one safe payment method for items listed in most categories on these sites. Release cycle change for SDK point releases
Effective immediately, we will begin delivering point releases for our eBay SDKs for .NET and Java every four weeks, as opposed to the current schedule of every two weeks. Full releases for these SDKs will continue at every eight weeks. The next SDK point release compatible with API version 503 is targeted for late March. read alert >

Recently in the Tech Soup forum, PHP developer hiclass.discounts was looking for assistance in getting XSL transform for item attributes working with PHP on the eBay platform. Fellow developer slomike1 responded along with experienced PHP developer ezine (project owner of the PHP Accelerator Toolkit for eBay ), who pointed hiclass.discounts in the right direction . "The basic problem is that the XSLT eBay delivers with the GetAttributesXSL-call is using the Xslt function node-set ... Basically PHP is using libxslt; here you have EXLT which also has a similar function. Anyway you would have to patch the xslt to make this working." post your tip >
