Warnings for Deprecated Input Fields
As of late March, we've just enhanced our WarningLevel mechanism to help you identify deprecated objects that you pass in requests. This information can be useful when you upgrade to newer versions of the schema. Just set WarningLevel to High when you're testing your application, and we'll tell you if you're sending us any deprecated or unrecognized fields. See the API version 505 Release Notes for details. Please read our eBay Schema Versioning Strategy document for details on how objects are deprecated. read update >
Big Improvements in API Docs: applicable enumerations
If the raw Schema Docs have been your main reference, you may want to check out the big improvements our API Docs team has been making to our Input/Output reference. John Darrow from API documentation gives you a quick tour of I/O reference and how it reflects useful relationships between fields and API calls. view improvements > then let John know what you think >
Simpler Ticket Finder for Buyer Tools
Exposing event ticket deals on eBay US, UK, and Germany has been made easier than ever before. All it takes is one API call to access all event ticket listings on eBay. Just call GetSearchResults and use the new TicketFinder to pull relevant ticket listing data based on location, date, event type, and/or number of tickets. get code >

Get Ready for Boston: Founders Chat with Pierre Omidyar of eBay and Scott Cook of Intuit @ DevCon 2006
What motivated you to start your company? What inspires you to create better tools? For Pierre Omidyar, it was the opportunity to create a level playing field. For Scott Cook, well, his wife complained about doing the bills! As we get ready for the 2007 conference in Boston, we thought we'd share some highlights from last year's conference. In this clip, Chris Anderson of "The Long Tail" chats with Pierre and Scott, as they share their stories about how they founded eBay and Intuit. view the clip > then register to join us at eBay DevCon 2007, June 11-13 in Boston! >
